Are people really surprised that Rick Ross was really a CO before he was a rapper rap star?
Did you really think he really “made a couple mil last year dealin weight?”
If that was the case the hip hop police would be all over Ross.
I understand that these entertainers create back stories to help market themselves and that’s fine. And if Ross has made a living off this persona I can see why he would deny it. He was just trying to protect his livelihood.
But now that the truth is exposed, will people stop listening? I don’t think so. Just make dope music. I’ll still listen.
