So MTV has an article speculating who will take the Def Jam CEO spot vacated by Jay Z. This is their list w/ my opinions:
Irv Gotti - Not likely. I think Gotti needs to build up the hits again before getting this spot
Chaka Zulu - too unknown? i’d be surprised if he took over the reigns
Diddy - Don’t think so. He’s got Bad Boy and it doesn’t solve LL’s gripe with CEO not being an artist
LL Cool J - Hahaha. Don’t think so. He doesn’t have the business acumen, plus he would be a hypocrite if he became the CEO/Artist
Russell Simmons - Nah, he been there, done that and oh yeah, created that
